About Morar Shoe Repairs

Morar Shoe Repairs is a shop in Leicester rather than a mobile service. Customers mention shoe repairs, including fitting replacement buckles, as well as key cutting and replacing the battery in a car key fob. One reviewer says the shop was quicker and cheaper than a larger key-cutting chain, and another describes staff who spent time checking a suitcase handle before explaining it could not be repaired without charging for that time.

Reviews are mixed. One customer reports a resole and heel replacement job that was not completed as agreed, and that the shop was closed for several weeks without notice. Customers who report positive experiences describe the staff as helpful and the work as quick.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
