About T&E Autolec

T&E Autolec is an auto electrical specialist in Bodmin, operating as a workshop rather than a mobile service. Its Google listing describes advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault repair. Customers mention electrical faults on a range of vehicles, including campervans and motorhomes, towing electrics, airbag faults and engine control unit problems. Several report that the team traced the actual cause of a fault and did not replace parts unnecessarily, and some note that work was completed on the day or at short notice.

Reviewers describe the proprietors as friendly, approachable and happy to explain the work. Some say they were kept informed when parts had to be sourced, and one reports the fitted part was tested on site before collection.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.

The NNAL Locksmith Directory is independent and not connected with T&E Autolec. Details come from Google Maps and were last checked November 2026. Is this business closed, or is the listing wrong? Tell us; business owners can ask for changes or removal the same way.
