About XS Locksmiths

XS Locksmiths is a locksmith business based in Edinburgh. It is a shop-based service rather than a mobile-only one, and the listing covers key cutting and lock repair work. Customers who mention key cutting describe it as quick, and some note that the staff were friendly and chatty during the visit.

Reviewers also mention work on communal and shared-building entry systems, including fixing a door that would not open from the flat buttons and a handset problem resolved on the spot. Customers describe the engineers as polite, professional and tidy, and several say the prices felt fair. Reviews are generally positive, and the work reported is mainly key cutting, lock repairs and entry-system faults.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
