About Alcatraz - Edinburgh Locksmiths
Alcatraz - Edinburgh Locksmiths is a mobile locksmith service based in Edinburgh, working at customers' properties rather than from a shop. Customers mention jobs including lock replacement, key cutting for multiple owners, freeing a stuck door, and repairing uPVC patio doors that had become misaligned.
Customers report that the business responds to enquiries promptly and can attend the same day. One reviewer described being kept informed of the arrival time, and others say the work was explained clearly and the final cost matched the quote given beforehand. Reviewers also note that the engineer tested new keys on the replacement lock before leaving.

Before you book
Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
