About Collins & Sons
Collins & Sons is a locksmith business based in Preston, operating as a service that is not limited to a single fixed location. Customers mention a range of work, including lockouts, fitting new door latches, changing multiple door locks, repairing sticking doors, and replacing or repairing car key fobs. Some also mention key cutting carried out during a visit.
Reviewers describe the team as prompt, neat and tidy in its work, and clear in explaining the different types of lock on offer. Several say the arrival time after a call was quick and that a visit was booked and a quote provided before installation. Customers also report that the team checked a fault before recommending more work, and that prices felt fair compared with other providers.

Before you book
Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
The NNAL Locksmith Directory is independent and not connected with Collins & Sons. Details come from Google Maps and were last checked November 2026. Is this business closed, or is the listing wrong? Tell us; business owners can ask for changes or removal the same way.
