About first call locksmiths

First Call Locksmiths is a Preston-based business that operates around the clock, according to the details held for it. Customers who have written reviews mention lockouts, including a van with keys locked inside and a householder shut out on a Saturday night, as well as a lock fault on a door and a problem with the lock on patio doors. Several describe fast arrival, with some saying the locksmith came within 15 to 30 minutes, and one says the work was completed to a high standard.

The business is not described as a service area only operation. Reviewers also praise how the work was explained and carried out without problems, and one describes the locksmith as very friendly and professional. These accounts come from customers themselves, so they reflect individual experiences rather than an independent assessment of the service.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.

The NNAL Locksmith Directory is independent and not connected with first call locksmiths. Details come from Google Maps and were last checked November 2026. Is this business closed, or is the listing wrong? Tell us; business owners can ask for changes or removal the same way.
